Wow! What a night.
First of all, THANKS to all of our customers who have supported us through 30+ years, four locations, the economic ups and downs and the changing trends which has allowed us to be Portland's #1 drum shop
It was so wonderful to see all facets of our drum community come together as one. We had African, Cuban, Jazz, Rock, Classical, Drum Line, Funk and Country drummers under one roof making it happen. Educators and students. Professionals, hobbyists and collectors all together swapping stories and grooves. It was remarkable.
Special thanks to Yamaha and Jay Kenney for providing us with years of endless support, quality products and a great Yamaha double bass pedal as our raffle prize. Congratulations also to our winner, Tobias Manthey.
Looking ahead, we have our public open house on Saturday December 9th from 11-7pm. We’ve had a full building renovation, put up an awesome new sign, painted the outside of the building, added additional retail space downstairs and we have brought in TONS of new and used gear. We're full to the brim with Ludwig snares, electronic kits, fresh West African djembes, the new Sabian Stratus line, Sonor Kompressor snare drums, hardware packs -- well pretty much everything. We also have new product launches and carry-over Black Friday specials
Caton will be having his Djembe and Conga classes and we'll also have free quick start drum set lessons throughout the day. This is event is open to the public so the more the merrier. Please feel free to forward this event and bring a friend.
