Catón Lyles is a veteran Pacific Northwest performer and educator specializing in West African and Afro-Cuban hand drumming. He served nearly 20 years as lead djembe drummer for the acclaimed Northwest Afrikan-American Ballet and has accompanied dancers, choreographers, and educators throughout the region for over 30 years.
